The China–Indonesia Industrial Gas Industry Chain & Supply Chain Forum concluded successfully on September 25.

Jinming Liu, currently General Manager of RefineTek Middle East and Global Sales Manager, has spent 8 years in overseas markets, helping customers incubate and advance dozens of oil & gas and energy engineering, supply, and service projects. He brings years of experience in overseas customer development, relationship management, and marketing & sales in the oilfield equipment, energy, and engineering sectors.

Guest dialogue session: We were also invited to the "China–Indonesia Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Forum," held alongside the China Gas Industry Overseas Tour — Jakarta (IG Indonesia 2024). Chengshang Zhou, CTO of our holding subsidiary RefineTek (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., attended as a guest speaker and delivered a keynote address.
During the event, Chinese and Indonesian delegates held a productive roundtable discussion on the opportunities and challenges of hydrogen industry cooperation between the two countries, reaching preliminary consensus on collaboration in hydrogen production and purification, seawater electrolysis for hydrogen production, and hydrogen storage and transport.
This forum fully explored the opportunities for building the China–Indonesia hydrogen industry chain and supply chain together, reinforcing the collective push of China’s leading hydrogen companies to expand overseas and driving more cooperative projects to land in Indonesia.
Chengshang Zhou is an Associate Professor at Central South University and a former Research Associate/Research Professor in the Department of Materials Science at the University of Utah. He received his master’s degree in Materials Science from Central South University in 2009 and his Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2015, and currently serves as Technical Director of RefineTek (Ningbo). In recent years, he has led and participated in research projects on powder-metallurgy titanium alloys, additive manufacturing of titanium alloys, and solid-state hydrogen storage materials, funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key R&D Program, the Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province, the U.S. National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s ARPA-E program. He has filed 27 invention patent applications, including 4 PCT or U.S. patents.

With decades of experience, the company offers a broad range of industrial gas products and services and has earned a reputation as one of Indonesia’s most reliable industrial gas suppliers.
The company’s core business is producing and selling various industrial gases and related products in liquefied or gaseous form. It also sells gas products from other manufacturers to customers, particularly specialty and rare gases, and provides the filling, storage, and transport equipment needed to distribute such products.
After a brief introduction from the on-site lead, our representatives were guided through a site visit and exchange session.
Our representatives reviewed the local gas company’s equipment setup and listened closely to Indonesian engineers’ feedback and suggestions on Chinese products, identifying areas for improvement in our own gas equipment.

This event helped fully showcase the strength of China’s industrial gas industry chain, promoting industrial cooperation, technical exchange, and trade and investment between RefineTek and gas-sector partners in Indonesia and neighboring countries.
