RefineTek has officially launched a new solution and system for selectively extracting electronic-grade ultra-pure hydrogen, helium, argon, and even nitrogen from ammonia synthesis tail gas.
By designing a new materials system and adopting advanced fabrication processes, hydrogen, helium, argon, and nitrogen can be extracted from ammonia synthesis tail gas step-by-step, on demand, while providing lower-cost, lower-energy solutions and systems tailored to end-use purity requirements for each gas.
This newly released system differs from conventional cryogenic, liquefaction, or palladium-membrane separation methods, and offers the following features: 1. High process flexibility — components can be combined or scaled up as needed at any time; 2. Complete mutual separation of all valuable gases; 3. Recovery rates for each gas up to 95%; 4. Low energy consumption — equivalent to less than 0.4 kWh per standard cubic meter of hydrogen; 5. A static system with minimal human-factor influence; 6. High safety — no high or ultra-low temperatures involved; 7. Compact, modular system assembly; 8. Maintenance-free operation for up to 3 years.
